End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement (EULA) is a legal contract between you (the Licensee), either as an individual or a business named on the invoice, and Antonio Mejía Lechuga, doing business as LechugaType (the Licensor). By downloading, installing, or using the font software (the Fonts), you agree to the terms and conditions of this EULA. If you do not accept these terms, do not download, install, or use the Fonts.

The Fonts are licensed, not sold. You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and royalty-free license to use the Fonts, which may be revoked if you breach this agreement.

All copyrights and intellectual property rights in the Fonts belong exclusively to LechugaType and/or its designers.

Good-Faith Use

This license is intended to protect the designer’s work while allowing normal, professional use of the Fonts in good faith.

If your intended use is not explicitly covered by this agreement, you are encouraged to contact the Licensor for clarification rather than assume permission or restriction.

  1. License Grant
    This EULA allows you to install and use the Fonts only as follows:
    • The type of license purchased (Desktop, Web, or other).
    • The number of users, devices, or specifications stated on the invoice.
    • The restrictions and conditions set forth in this agreement.

    In case of conflict, the specific license terms shall prevail.

  2. Permitted Uses and General Restrictions

    2.1 Permitted Uses

    The Licensee may:

    • Make a reasonable number of backup copies for archival purposes.
    • Temporarily share the Fonts with a service provider for a specific job, provided that such third party:
      • Uses the Fonts exclusively for that job.
      • Does not retain copies after completion.

    You are fully responsible for misuse by third parties.

    2.2 Prohibited Uses

    Unless authorized in writing:

    • Selling, sharing, sublicensing, renting, leasing, or redistributing the Fonts.
    • Modifying, adapting, translating, decompiling, reverse engineering, or creating derivative works.
    • Including Fonts in press kits, repositories, branding packages, downloadable templates, or editable files.
    • Delivering editable files unless:
      • The recipient has a valid license.
      • The Fonts are converted to outlines.
    • Creating commercial products where the typeface is the predominant element.

    2.3 Artificial Intelligence

    • Training, optimizing, or fine-tuning artificial intelligence models.
    • Including Fonts in datasets or training repositories.
    • Generating synthetic typefaces or typographic models.
    • Extracting metrics or geometries for automated processes.
    • Allowing third parties to perform these actions.
  3. Disclaimer and Limited Warranty
    The Fonts are provided “as is” without any warranty. The Licensor is not responsible for any damages.Total liability will never exceed the amount paid.

    All sales are final.

  4. Termination
    If you breach any term, your license terminates automatically. You must delete all copies and confirm this in writing.
  5. Applicable Law
    This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be resolved in Querétaro, Mexico.

Desktop License

Scope

  • Installation on up to two devices per license.
  • Exclusive use by the license holder.

Permitted

  • Design of logos and visual identities.
  • Conversion to outlines in final artwork.
  • Use in printed and digital material.
  • Creation of non-editable files.

Not permitted

  • Creating typographic merchandise.
  • Sharing or redistributing Fonts.
  • Converting Fonts for web use.

Web License

Scope

  • Use on a single domain.
  • Up to 10,000 monthly visits.

Permitted

  • Embedding via @font-face.
  • Use in web forms.

Not permitted

  • Downloadable templates.
  • Use on third-party websites.
  • Image or video generation.
  • Conversion to other formats.

Additional Licenses and Custom Use

Certain uses of the Fonts are not covered by the standard Desktop or Web licenses, including but not limited to:

Marketing and advertising campaigns, EPUB and digital publishing, mobile or desktop applications, video games, broadcasting, streaming, or other embedded or large-scale uses.

Edition 1.3 – January 2026

This EULA may be updated from time to time. Such updates will not retroactively remove rights already granted, but will apply to future use of the Fonts. By continuing to use the Fonts after an update, you agree to the then-current version of this EULA.

Acuerdo de Licencia de Usuario Final

Este Acuerdo de licencia de usuario final (EULA) es un contrato legal entre usted (el Licenciatario), ya sea como persona física o como empresa indicada en la factura, y Antonio Mejía Lechuga, que opera bajo el nombre comercial LechugaType (el Licenciante).

Al descargar, instalar o utilizar el software de Fuentes (las Fuentes), usted acepta los términos y condiciones de este EULA. Si no acepta estos términos, no descargue, instale ni utilice las Fuentes.

Las Fuentes se conceden bajo licencia, no se venden. Usted recibe una licencia perpetua, no exclusiva, intransferible y libre de regalías para utilizar las Fuentes, que puede ser revocada si incumple este acuerdo.

Todos los derechos de autor y de propiedad intelectual de las Fuentes pertenecen exclusivamente a LechugaType y/o a sus diseñadores.

Uso de buena fe

Esta licencia tiene por objeto proteger el trabajo del diseñador, al tiempo que permite el uso normal y profesional de las Fuentes de buena fe.

Si el uso que desea darle no está explícitamente cubierto por este acuerdo, le recomendamos que se ponga en contacto con el Licenciante para obtener una aclaración, en lugar de dar por sentado que tiene permiso o restricción.

  1. Concesión de licencia
    Este EULA le permite instalar y utilizar las Fuentes únicamente de la siguiente manera:
    • El tipo de licencia adquirida (Desktop, Web u otra).
    • El número de usuarios, dispositivos o especificaciones indicados en la factura correspondiente.
    • Las restricciones y condiciones establecidas en este acuerdo.

    Si existe un conflicto entre este EULA y los términos específicos de una licencia concreta, se aplicarán los términos específicos de dicha licencia.

  2. Usos permitidos y restricciones generales

    2.1 Usos permitidos

    El Licenciatario podrá:

    • Realizar un número razonable de copias de seguridad de las Fuentes, únicamente con fines de copia de seguridad y archivo.
    • Compartir temporalmente las Fuentes con una imprenta comercial o un proveedor de servicios para un trabajo específico, siempre que dicho tercero:
      • Utilice las Fuentes exclusivamente para la ejecución de dicho trabajo.
      • No conserve copias una vez finalizado el trabajo.

    Usted es plenamente responsable de cualquier uso indebido de las Fuentes por parte de estos terceros.

    2.2 Usos prohibidos

    A menos que cuente con el permiso por escrito del Licenciante, las siguientes acciones están estrictamente prohibidas:

    • Vender, redistribuir, compartir, sublicenciar, alquilar, arrendar o poner a disposición las Fuentes.
    • Modificar, adaptar, traducir, descompilar, realizar ingeniería inversa o crear obras derivadas.
    • Incluir los archivos de Fuentes en dossiers de prensa, repositorios, paquetes de marca, plantillas descargables o archivos editables.
    • Entregar archivos editables a terceros, a menos que:
      • Dichos terceros tengan una licencia válida.
      • Las Fuentes se hayan convertido previamente a contornos.
    • Utilizar glifos o alfabetos para crear productos destinados a la comercialización cuando la tipografía sea el elemento predominante.

    2.3 Inteligencia Artificial

    • Entrenar, alimentar, optimizar o ajustar modelos de inteligencia artificial.
    • Incluir las Fuentes en conjuntos de datos o repositorios de entrenamiento.
    • Generar tipografías sintéticas o modelos generativos de estilos tipográficos.
    • Extraer métricas, geometrías o curvas para procesos automatizados.
    • Permitir a terceros realizar cualquiera de estas acciones.
  3. Exención de responsabilidad y garantía limitada
    Las Fuentes se proporcionan «tal cual», sin ninguna garantía.El Licenciante no se hace responsable de ningún daño.

    La responsabilidad total nunca superará el importe pagado.

    Todas las ventas son definitivas.

  4. Rescisión
    Si incumple cualquiera de los términos, su licencia finalizará automáticamente.Deberá eliminar todas las copias y confirmarlo por escrito.
  5. Legislación aplicable
    Este acuerdo se rige por las leyes de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos.Cualquier disputa será resuelta en Querétaro, México.

Licencia Desktop

Ámbito

  • Instalación en hasta dos dispositivos por licencia.
  • Uso exclusivo para el titular de la licencia.

Permitido

  • Diseño de logotipos e identidades visuales.
  • Conversión a contornos en el resultado final.
  • Uso en material impreso y digital.
  • Creación de archivos no editables.

No permitido

  • Crear mercancía tipográfica.
  • Compartir o redistribuir las Fuentes.
  • Convertir las Fuentes para uso web.

Licencia Web

Ámbito

  • Uso en un único dominio.
  • Hasta 10 000 visitas mensuales.

Permitido

  • Incrustación mediante @font-face.
  • Uso en formularios web.

No permitido

  • Plantillas descargables.
  • Uso en sitios web de terceros.
  • Generación de imágenes o vídeos.
  • Conversión a otros formatos.

Licencias adicionales y uso personalizado

Ciertos usos de las Fuentes no están cubiertos por las licencias estándar de escritorio o web, entre los que se incluyen, entre otros:

Campañas de marketing y publicidad, EPUB y publicaciones digitales, aplicaciones móviles o de escritorio, videojuegos, televisión, streaming u otros usos incrustados o a gran escala.

Edición 1.3 – Enero de 2026

Este EULA puede actualizarse periódicamente. Dichas actualizaciones no eliminarán retroactivamente los derechos ya concedidos, sino que se aplicarán al uso futuro de las Fuentes. Al continuar utilizando las Fuentes después de una actualización, usted acepta la versión vigente en ese momento de este EULA.
