End User License Agreement
General
This End User License Agreement (EULA) is a legal contract between you (the Licensee), either as an individual or a business named on the invoice, and Antonio Mejía Lechuga, doing business as LechugaType (the Licensor). By downloading, installing, or using the font software (the “Fonts”), you accept the terms and conditions of this EULA. If you do not accept these terms, do not download, install, or use the Fonts. The Fonts are licensed, not sold, and all copyrights and intellectual property rights in the Fonts belong exclusively to LechugaType and/or its designers. You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and royalty-free license to use the Fonts, which may be revoked if you breach this agreement. This license is intended to protect the designer’s work while allowing normal, professional use of the Fonts in good faith. If your intended use is not explicitly covered by this agreement, you are encouraged to contact the Licensor for clarification rather than assume permission or restriction.1. License Grant
This EULA allows you to install and use the Fonts only as follows:- Depending on the type of license purchased (Desktop, Web, or other).
- Based on the quantity of licenses acquired (where one license permits installation on up to two computers), as specified on the respective invoice.
- The restrictions and conditions set forth in this agreement.
2. Permitted Uses and General Restrictions
2.1 Permitted Uses
The Licensee may:- Make a reasonable number of backup copies for archival purposes.
- Temporarily share the Fonts with a service provider for a
specific job, provided that such third party:
- Uses the Fonts exclusively for that job.
- Does not retain copies after completion.
2.2 Prohibited Uses
Unless you have the Licensor’s written permission, the following actions are strictly prohibited:- Modifying, adapting, translating, decompiling, reverse engineering, or creating derivative works.
- Selling, redistributing, sharing, sublicensing, renting, leasing, or making the Font files available to third parties in press kits, repositories, brand packages, downloadable templates, or editable files.
- Delivering editable files unless:
- The recipient has a valid license.
- The Fonts are converted to outlines.
- Creating commercial products where the typeface is the predominant element.
2.3 Artificial Intelligence
- Train, feed, optimize, or fine-tune artificial intelligence models.
- Include the Fonts in training datasets or repositories.
- Generate synthetic typefaces or generative models of typographic styles.
- Extracting metrics, geometries, or curves for automated processes.
- Allowing third parties to perform these actions.
3. Disclaimer and Limited Warranty
- The Fonts are provided “as is” without any warranty, and the Licensor is not liable for any damages.
- Total liability will never exceed the amount paid.
- All sales are final.
4. Termination
In the event of a breach of any of the terms, your license will automatically terminate, and you must delete all copies and confirm this in writing to the Licensor.5. Applicable Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be resolved in Querétaro City, Mexico. The fact that LechugaType does not enforce a provision of this Agreement, whether by omission or by its own choice, does not constitute a waiver of its right to do so at a later time.Desktop License
- Installation on up to two devices per license.
- Exclusive use by the license holder.
- Logo design, visual identities, editorial design, packaging, signage, etc., applied to static print or digital materials.
- Conversion to outlines in final artwork.
- Convert the Fonts to file formats different from those in which they were originally downloaded.
- Share or redistribute the fonts.
- Create typographic merchandise.
Web License
- One license permits usage on a single domain.
- The initial license is applicable to websites with up to 10,000 monthly visitors, while the subsequent license accommodates websites with up to 20,000 visitors, and so forth.
- Embedding with the @font-face CSS method.
- Use in web forms.
- Utilize the same license across various web domains.
- Downloadable templates that include the Fonts.
- Use of the Fonts on third-party websites is prohibited unless a valid license permitting such use as a provider is acquired. In such cases, the Fonts must be removed upon project completion (see 2.1 Permitted Uses).
- Video editing, image generation, or creating files for printing.
- Conversion to other formats.
Additional Licenses and Custom Use
Certain uses of the Fonts are not covered by the standard Desktop or Web licenses, including but not limited to: Marketing and advertising campaigns, ePub, mobile or desktop apps, server, video games, broadcasting, or other embedded or large-scale uses. Al descargar, instalar o utilizar el software de Fuentes (las Fuentes), usted acepta los términos y condiciones de este EULA. Si no acepta estos términos, no descargue, instale ni utilice las Fuentes. Las Fuentes se conceden bajo licencia, no se venden y todos los derechos de autor y de propiedad intelectual de las Fuentes pertenecen exclusivamente a LechugaType y/o a sus diseñadores. Usted recibe una licencia perpetua, no exclusiva, intransferible y libre de regalías para utilizar las Fuentes, que puede ser revocada si incumple este acuerdo.

Uso de Buena Fe
Esta licencia tiene por objeto proteger el trabajo del diseñador, al tiempo que permite el uso normal y profesional de las Fuentes.
Si el uso que desea darle no está explícitamente cubierto por este EULA, le recomendamos que se ponga en contacto con el Licenciante para obtener una aclaración, en lugar de dar por sentado que tiene permiso o restricción.
1. Concesión de licencia
Este EULA le permite instalar y utilizar las Fuentes únicamente de la siguiente manera:
- Según el tipo de licencia adquirida corresponda (Desktop, Web u otra).
- Según la cantidad de licencias adquiridas en la factura correspondiente, una licencia cubre hasta dos computadoras.
- Las restricciones y condiciones establecidas en este EULA.
Si existe un conflicto entre este EULA y los términos específicos de una licencia concreta, prevalecerán los términos específicos de dicha licencia.
2. Usos permitidos y restricciones generales
2.1 Usos permitidos
El Licenciatario podrá:
- Realizar un número razonable de copias de seguridad de las Fuentes, únicamente con fines de copia de seguridad y archivo.

Compartir temporalmente las Fuentes con una imprenta comercial o un proveedor de servicios para un trabajo específico, siempre que dicho tercero:
- Utilice las Fuentes exclusivamente para la ejecución de dicho trabajo.
- No conserve copias una vez finalizado el trabajo.
Usted es plenamente responsable de cualquier uso indebido de las Fuentes por parte de estos terceros.
2.2 Usos prohibidos
A menos que cuente con el permiso por escrito del Licenciante, las siguientes acciones están estrictamente prohibidas:
- Modificar, adaptar, traducir, descompilar, realizar ingeniería inversa o crear obras derivadas.
- Vender, redistribuir, compartir, sublicenciar, alquilar, arrendar o poner las Fuentes a disposiciónde terceros en dossiers de prensa, repositorios, paquetes de marca, plantillas descargables o archivos editables.

Entregar archivos editables a terceros, a menos que:
- Dichos terceros tengan una licencia válida.
- Las Fuentes se hayan convertido previamente en contornos.
- Crear productos comerciales en los que el tipo de letra sea el elemento predominante.
2.3 Inteligencia Artificial
- Entrenar, alimentar, optimizar o ajustar modelos de inteligencia artificial.
- Incluir las Fuentes en conjuntos de datos o repositorios de entrenamiento.
- Generar tipografías sintéticas o modelos generativos de estilos tipográficos.
- Extraer métricas, geometrías o curvas para procesos automatizados.
- Permitir a terceros realizar cualquiera de estas acciones.
3. Exención de responsabilidad y garantía limitada
- Las Fuentes se proporcionan «tal cual», sin garantía alguna, y el Licenciante no se hace responsable de ningún daño.
- La responsabilidad total nunca superará el importe pagado.
- Todas las ventas son definitivas.
4. Rescisión
En caso de incumplimiento de cualquiera de los términos, su licencia finalizará automáticamente y será obligatorio eliminar todas las copias, confirmándolo por escrito al Licenciante.
5. Legislación aplicable
Este acuerdo se rige por las leyes de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos. Cualquier disputa será resuelta en la ciudad de Querétaro, México. El hecho de que LechugaType no haga valer una disposición de este Acuerdo, ya sea por omisión o por elección propia, no constituye una renuncia a su derecho de hacerlo posteriormente.
Licencia Desktop
- Instalación en hasta dos dispositivos por licencia.
- Uso exclusivo del titular de la licencia.
- Diseño de logotipos, identidades visuales, editorial, empaque, señalética, etcétera, aplicados a materiales impresos o digitales estáticos.
- Conversión a contornos en el resultado final.
- Convertir las Fuentes a formatos de archivo distintos a los que se descargaron originalmente.
- Compartir o redistribuir las Fuentes.
- Crear mercancía tipográfica.
Licencia Web
- Permite su uso en un único dominio.
- La primera licencia es aplicable a sitios con hasta 10,000 visitas mensuales, la segunda licencia a sitios con hasta 20,000 visitas, y así sucesivamente.
- Incrustación mediante el método CSS @font-face.
- Uso en formularios web.
- Utilizar la misma licencia en varios dominios web.
- Plantillas descargables que almacenen las Fuentes.
- Uso en sitios web de terceros, a menos que cuentes con una licencia válida que permita su uso como proveedor, en cuyo caso se tendrán que borrar las Fuentes una vez terminado el proyecto (ver 2.1 Usos permitidos).
- Edición de vídeos, generación de imágenes o de archivos con salidas para impresión.
- Conversión a otros formatos.
Licencias adicionales y uso personalizado
Ciertos usos de las Fuentes no están cubiertos por las licencias estándar Desktop o Web, entre los que se incluyen, entre otros:
Campañas de marketing y publicidad, ePub, apps móviles o de escritorio, server, videojuegos, broadcasting u otros usos incrustados o a gran escala.
Si requiere una licencia para cualquiera de estos fines, o si su caso de uso queda fuera del ámbito de aplicación de este EULA, le solicitamos que nos envíe un correo a hola@lechugatype.com para solicitar la cotización correspondiente a una licencia personalizada.
Edición 1.4 – Agosto de 2026
Este EULA puede actualizarse periódicamente. Dichas actualizaciones no eliminarán retroactivamente los derechos ya concedidos, sino que se aplicarán al uso futuro de las Fuentes. Al continuar utilizando las Fuentes después de una actualización, usted acepta la versión vigente en ese momento de este EULA.

This TRIAL license allows you to install and use the Fonts for only 1 user, who, in turn, is permitted to install them on up to 5 devices owned by that user, as follows:

The Licensee—whether a freelancer or an agency—may use the files exclusively to present proposals and select the typeface family or styles to be licensed. This right extends to the Licensee’s employees and collaborators under the Licensee’s direct supervision and responsibility. Authorized uses include:
- Create visual design materials, print proofs, and sketches for clients during the competition, proposal, and pitch phases. It is also permissible to embed these files on websites, provided that access is restricted to private or internal testing environments.
- Developing personal projects, as well as academic projects undertaken by students, provided that none of these have direct commercial purposes.
2.2 Prohibited Uses
Unless you have the Licensor’s written permission, the following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Modifying, adapting, translating, decompiling, reverse engineering, or creating derivative works.
- Selling, redistributing, sharing, sublicensing, renting, leasing, or making the Font files available to third parties in press kits, repositories, brand packages, downloadable templates, or editable files.

Este derecho se extiende a los empleados y colaboradores del Licenciatario bajo su directa supervisión y responsabilidad. Los usos autorizados incluyen:
- Desarrollar materiales visuales de diseño, pruebas de impresión y bocetos para clientes durante la etapa de concurso, propuestas y pitches, para los cuales también está permitido incrustar los archivos en sitios web siempre y cuando sean de acceso privado o entornos de prueba internos.
- Desarrollar proyectos personales, así como proyectos académicos realizados por estudiantes, siempre que ninguno de estos tenga fines comerciales directos.
2.2 Usos prohibidos
A menos que cuente con el permiso por escrito del Licenciante, las siguientes acciones están estrictamente prohibidas:
- Modificar, adaptar, traducir, descompilar, realizar ingeniería inversa o crear obras derivadas.
- Vender, redistribuir, compartir, sublicenciar, alquilar, arrendar o poner las Fuentes a disposición de terceros en dossiers de prensa, repositorios, paquetes de marca, plantillas descargables o archivos editables.
- Usar los archivos de Fuentes en materiales y artes finales, publicar o imprimir en materiales con algún fin comercial que no sean bocetos o pruebas internas.

- Entrenar, alimentar, optimizar o ajustar modelos de inteligencia artificial.
